Grandson of legendary filmmaker Kunchacko, he made his debut in Aniyathipravu (1997), which became a blockbuster and earned him the tag of the “Chocolate boy” of Malayalam cinema. After a brief break from acting, Kunchacko reinvented himself with more diverse and mature roles, starring in acclaimed and commercially successful films such as Traffic (2011), Seniors (2011), Ordinary (2012), How Old Are You (2014), Take Off (2017), Virus (2019), Anjaam Pathiraa (2020), Nayattu (2021), Pada (2022), Nna Thaan Case Kodu (2022) and 2018 (2023), India’s official entry to the Oscars.
