On November 28, 2007, SUGER released their CD debut with the mini-album FORGET ME NOT ~Flowers Blooming in the Ruins~ on Epic Records Japan. Kawasumi was the youngest member at the time (14 years old). Kawasumi also participated in writing the lyrics for the album's title song, FORGET ME NOT ~Flowers Blooming in the Ruins~ (composed by Shimano Satoshi), which was the theme song for the stage play Flowers Blooming in the Ruins. Kawasumi's lyrics were selected in a lyrics competition within SUGER. In October 2008, SUGER disbanded. He then began working full-time as an actor. On January 1, 2017, he announced on his blog that he had transferred from his long-time company Kitty Co., Ltd. to Cast Corporation.
