In 2015, her final year of high school, Cameron decided to explore writing and wrote and starred in her very own play, "Labelled," for which she won Best Actress and Best Play as well as a $1,000 bursary encouraging her to continue her endeavors in the arts. She was the youngest in her class and played a variety of different roles over her three years including 'Celia' in Shakespeare's "As You Like It" and 'Blanche DuBois' in Tennessee Williams' "A Streetcar Named Desire."
