Alain Souchère
Alain Souchère is a French technician in the audiovisual sector, specializing in prop management. He distinguished himself through his professionalism and rigor across various television productions, particularly during the 1970s and 1980s, a period marked by significant developments in technical and artistic practices within French broadcasting. As a prop master, he plays a key role in the preparation and visual coherence of the works to which he contributes. His responsibilities include selecting, preparing, and managing all the accessories required for filming, ensuring their authenticity, historical accuracy, and functionality. This level of precision leads him to work closely with artistic and technical teams and to intervene at every stage of production. Alain Souchère is notably associated with the series Schulmeister, l’espion de l’empereur, for which he contributed to the meticulous reconstruction of the Napoleonic era. His attention to detail and mastery of on‑set constraints enhance the visual credibility of the series and reflect his expertise.
