He is the son of veteran filmmaker Bhuwan K.C. and Sushmita Bomjan. He made his official leading debut in the 2013 coming-of-age film Hostel, which was a major commercial success and established him as a youth icon. He followed this with a string of romantic hits, including Jerryy, Dreams, and Gajalu, which solidified his massive popularity among younger audiences. In recent years, he has expanded his repertoire with higher-budget action and sports dramas such as Kri and Captain, and has been a central figure in the successful A Mero Hajur franchise. His 2024 film Farki Farki was another major commercial hit, further cementing his box-office stature. Known for his boy-next-door charm and his record-breaking remuneration, he continues to lead the new generation of actors in the Nepali film industry.
