Moshe Peretz
Moshe Haim Peretz is a prominent Israeli pop singer, songwriter, and composer who has become a leading figure in the Mizrahi music genre. Born and raised in Tiberias in a Sephardic Jewish family of Moroccan and Iraqi heritage, he began his musical journey singing in a local synagogue at age 13. Rising to mainstream prominence in the mid-2000s, Peretz carved out a successful career by seamlessly blending traditional Middle Eastern and Mediterranean melodies with contemporary Western pop production. Beyond his recording career and numerous chart-topping hits, he expanded into television as a judge on The X Factor Israel, helping mentor a new generation of local talent while regularly collaborating with major Israeli artists.
